Week 21 ~ Keep on keeping on.

There were quite a few folks who missed the moment this week, just as I did last week, and I wanted to say to them, from the bottom of my heart, “Thank you! Thank you for doing what you do.  Thank you for teaching, for counseling, for mothering others. Thank you for doing these things instead of stopping to take a photograph for this beloved, yet far less worthy project. The world would likely continue to spin without you, but I can’t imagine it would be worth the trip.”

All of these images were taken by different photographers across the globe at the same moment,Tuesday, April 14th at 12:21 p.m

Week 21 mosaic copy

This week’s moment caught us all at a nourishing break in our day.

 fueling up and carrying on

Cory, in Connecticut, prepares for a spicy lunch with her fiancé. Left-over Szechuan tofu. Yum. Wait, was it the food that was spicy I wonder?

Rachel, in Seattle, breaks for lunch after a hideous day of searching for her wallet after missing a flight for it's absence. (Side note: A week later, it's still missing. We've mourned and moved on. Damn, I loved that wallet!!)

Aziza, in Kuwait, takes a moment with a cup of tea and herself, before her children arrive home from school. Unhappy with the level of education they get at school, Aziza takes it upon herself to make sure her children are learning all they can and need to when they are with her. As any home-schooling-mom could likely tell us, it's a big job. Bravo Aziza!!
